Epitalon 10 mg: telomeres and biological rhythms
Epitalon , also called Epithalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide with the sequence Ala–Glu–Asp–Gly. Developed from research on epithalamine, a peptide extract of the pineal gland, it is being studied in the fields of cellular aging and neuroendocrine regulation.

Telomerase and cell renewal
Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes. In human cell cultures, Epitalon stimulated telomerase activity and telomere lengthening. These results pertain to cells studied in the laboratory; they do not demonstrate an increase in human lifespan.
The research also explores DNA stability, the response to oxidative stress, and tissue renewal mechanisms.
Melatonin and the sleep-wake cycle
Studies in older primates have observed an increase in nocturnal melatonin secretion after administration of Epitalon. This hormone plays a role in synchronizing the sleep-wake cycle.
Neuroendocrine regulation is another area of research, particularly the variations in hormonal signals throughout the day. The precise effects on human dopamine and norepinephrine remain to be characterized.
Sleep, recovery and performance
The benefits outlined in the information sheet relate to sleep disturbances, age-related changes, and periods of physical or mental stress. However, the benefits for mental clarity, daily energy, athletic recovery, and muscle maintenance still need to be confirmed by appropriate clinical studies.
Associations with GHK-Cu or TB-500 are mentioned in some exploratory protocols. Their combined efficacy and safety require specific evaluation.
