Action on prolactin
Cabergoline binds with high affinity to dopamine D2 receptors on lactotroph cells of the anterior pituitary gland. Their activation inhibits the synthesis and release of prolactin into the blood.
Its long half-life prolongs its action for several days. Excessive intake therefore leads to effects that persist over time.
Needs assessment during the cycle
During a cycle including nandrolone or trenbolone, the use of cabergoline should be based on a confirmed elevation of prolactin and on the interpretation of the hormonal assessment.
A decreased libido, erectile difficulties, breast tenderness, or water retention can have several possible causes: estradiol, androgen imbalance, blood pressure, stress, or other medications. The results of a prolactin test should be interpreted in light of these factors.
Prolactin, estradiol, and breast symptoms
Breast manifestations require an evaluation of their cause. The control of prolactin and estradiol involves distinct mechanisms; cabergoline acts on prolactin secretion.
Established gynecomastia requires specific treatment. Cabergoline does not eliminate the existing glandular tissue.
Conservation
Store the tablets in their original packaging, in a dry place at a temperature below 25°C, away from sunlight, heat and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
