Prolonged hormonal stimulation
The DAC, or Drug Affinity Complex, allows the peptide to bind to circulating albumin. This binding slows its elimination and prolongs the stimulation of GH secretion as well as the increase in IGF-1.
GH secretion retains its pulsatile character despite this prolonged stimulation. The activity over several days is the distinguishing feature of the DAC-based formulation.
Associated sporting objectives
- Lean mass: interest in the GH and IGF-1 pathways involved in protein synthesis and muscle development.
- Recovery: objectives of tissue repair and better continuity between demanding sessions.
- Body composition: aiming for fat mobilization and preservation of muscle tissue.
- Connective tissues: of interest for the mechanisms related to collagen, tendons, ligaments and joints.
Associations mentioned
- Ipamoreline: an association described to complement GH stimulation, with objectives of recovery and body recomposition.
- GHRP-2: association aimed at a greater growth hormone response.
- BPC-157: association mentioned when the objectives focus more on tendons, ligaments and other stressed tissues.
Preparation and storage
- Reconstitution: The powder is described for preparation with bacteriostatic water. Gently introduce the liquid against the side of the bottle.
- Administration: The routes mentioned are subcutaneous and intramuscular. The prolonged duration of action must be taken into account in the exposure assessment.
